Adult Programs

St. Francis offers a variety of opportunities for adults to join in study and fellowship.

Men's Bible Study -- This is a group open to those who are looking for some coffee and conversation loosely centered on the particular book of the bible we happen to be reading through, which more often than not leads us into issues we all face in our daily lives and relationships. Coffee is always on. 7:00-8:00AM every Wednesday in the parish library.

Wednesday Evening Food, Fellowship, and Study -- We offer adult education classes on Wednesday nights during many seasons, led by both clergy and lay members. We begin with dinner at 5:30PM followed by program and try to be done by 8:00PM.

Sunday Morning Bible Study -- Led by Rae Whitney, this group meets in the Library, just off the offices, between services from 9:00AM-9:45AM. The group reads through and discusses the readings assigned for that morning's worship, which brings the texts to life in a new way. No prior reading required. Just come and grab a cup of coffee and meet in the Library.

Sunday Morning Coffee Hour -- No list of our adult activities would be complete without noting that coffee and treats are available every Sunday after both services. People say this is really the best way that the church has for folks to get to know each other. Everyone is invited and everyone is encouraged and everyone is welcome. Please join us for a cup of coffee and some conversation.
